Since his debut release, Saladin (pronounced Sah-lay-din) has been tearing apart dance floors from his hometown, Chicago, through the rest of the globe. It is safe to say that Saladin’s career has been growing at a rapid pace with over 30 releases alone in 2017, featured on prestigious labels including: Deephour Music, Play Records, Phunk Junk Records and many more.
Saladin has gained and earned the support of industry tastemakers such as Laidback Luke, Don Diablo, Exodus and D.O.D. to name a few and has climbed its way up Beatport charts multiple times. Recently earning a #3 spot on Billboard’s Breakout Dance Chart, where is featured alongside music royalty including Justin Bieber and Pink, to his name. Goals that every aspiring DJ and producer, dreams of achieving.
While in the studio, he takes his influences of Prince and 80’s New Wave sounds and emerges them into futuristic, electronic and melodic masterpieces. His style ranges from hard-driven, dark techno to bangin' Tech House to deep progressive, showcasing his versatility in the studio. Working with vocalists including Christina Novelli, Milana May, Eia and Kristin Kalliope to name a few.
When not in the studio Saladin can found doing the rounds on the Chicago nightclub circuit performing at prestigious clubs as Spybar, Evil Olive, Afterlife and Chicago’s infamous Porn ‘N Chicken party. He has also held a 1-year residency for “Esoterika” at Exit Night Club and is currently a guest DJ for Dance Factory 92.7/99.9 on Chicago’s FM Radio airwaves.
With bucket loads of new music on the way, and an ever-expanding tour schedule, it is safe to say that Saladin is set to rein the Dance music ladder for the foreseeable future.
